The oldest 18 hole course in England ?
Golf at Royston has been dated back as far as 1624; local historians have claimed that the first English golfer, the 1st Earl of Buckingham played at that time. The origins of the 18 hole golf course at Royston date to when two Cambridge University Students laid out the first course in 1869.
A spectacular and rewarding golfing experience
With two 220 yard + par threes and a couple of driveable par fours no two holes are alike, reflecting both the natural terrain and the history of the club. At 6042 yards the course will delight the enthusiastic golfer; it's location ensures an enjoyable challenge throughout the year .
